Applications built by Aepona

Aepona's experience in the network domain means that we are highly competent in developing network-level applications, or service components that need the low-level elements of the network to function.

One example of this is the Voice Call Continuity application, providing seamless switching of in-progress voice calls in the wireless domain to the WiFi domain, where coverage exists, and vice versa.

Also, Aepona has developed a Virtual Private Network (VPN) application, which can provide short-number or abbreviated dialling and different pricing structures to enterprise customers in the same member group.

Third-party applications

Aepona works closely with a community of application developers in order to bring a broad range of ready-to-deploy Enterprise and Consumer applications to market rapidly. These applications can either be hosted on the Aepona Telecom Application Server with the operators' network or hosted externally, making use of the easy-to-use facilities provided by the Aepona Telecom Web Services Platform.

In addition, we support the application development community with an easy-to-use Service Development Toolkit which can be downloaded from our website.
